Ghost Hunter's Tour

Bring your camera, digital/analog voice recorder and join us on this one of a kind tour. You will go on a walking tour of Barnstable Village with professional Ghost Hunters. You will stop and hear the haunting tales that plague the town. You will then have the opportunity to investigate a known haunted cemetery. The evening includes a three-hour walking tour (or longer) of the village's haunted locations and participants will visit places such as Crocker Tavern, Barnstable Court House. You will learn how to do EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) also know as "recording voices of the dead" inside the cemetery. You will also get to use some sensory equipment to "detect" paranormal activity. One stop on the tour has had some local's spooked...it is called "The House of 11 Ghosts" or the town knows it as "The Barnstable House". The tours have gotten exciting throughout the years with the paranormal events that have been seen and recorded and just think, it may happen to you.

Are you looking for something out of the ordinary to fill your evenings? Join us as we walk the historic and haunted “Old Kings Highway” in Barnstable Village.... The date is 1645 Reverend John Lothrop, founder of Barnstable has a home built on “Old Kings Highway” and is now the Sturgis Library. This structure is to be the oldest building to be used as a library in the United States. There is a resident who has not left this historic building still walking the book shelves and basement. This is just the starting point of the tour. As the tour continues you will hear stories of the conflict between the Loyalists and the American Whigs (Patriots) and how England had a stronghold on this small quaint town. There are over fifteen stops on the tour and eleven have ghost stories. You will visit Cobb’s Hill Cemetery where many strange and unusual things have taken place. You will visit such places and the “Old Jail” built in 1690’s by the order of Massachusetts Bay Colony Courts, who still today has a ghostly resident caretaker. You will pass by the Crocker Tavern, the meeting place of the Whigs. As the night sets in, we will have you in front of Cape Cod’s most haunted building, “The House of Eleven Ghosts”.

Love you to Death Haunted Tour for two

You and your partner can walk the beautiful haunted streets of Barnstable Village with your very own tour guide. The 90 minute tour will take you back in time to the American Revolution where hearts and minds were tested. You will hear tales of lost loves, forgotten wives and why they need to stay behind. You will be swept down to the cemetery where you may hear the lonesome wail of a wife looking for her love. On the tour, the guide will have you standing in front of the most haunted building on Cape Cod where your love and fate will be tested. In the end you will find yourselves sipping champagne and eating chocolate molting cake in a haunted restaurant. This package is designed for the ones who are dating, engaged, married and people celebrating an anniversary.
