Brett Gavin, Field Investigator

Brett joined CAIPRS in June 2008. He is currently a Freshman at Mount Ida College in Newton. He is going for his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Computer Animation. Brett is a Field Investigator for the Ghosts and Hauntings division of CAIPRS. His desire to pursue paranormal activity and unexplainable phenomena is invaluable. Ever since he was 8 years old, he has always wanted to find the answers concerning the paranormal. He had one Ouija board experience at the age of 8, but says this wasn’t a “true” paranormal experience. He had his first true and unexplainable experience with the team while helping Derek Bartlett, President and Founder of CAIPRS, with a CAIPRS Haunted and History tour. He went off on his own, sat in a dip in Cobb’s Hill Cemetery West (located in Old Barnstable Village in Barnstable, MA), and watched 4 white headstones on the right edge of the cemetery go black one by one and reappear as normal. This occurrence has got him even more motivated to investigate the paranormal. He loves being a member of the team, and hopes to gain a greater extent of knowledge of paranormal investigating with the team.
