Joined July 2008.Cape Cod native, born & raised in the town of Bourne. Currently, a junior at Becker College in Leicester, MA. Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science as an Equine Science Major. I have been interested in the paranormal from a very young age. Grew up hearing stories of family members seeing other members of the family who’ve passed, or hearing their names called, or even seeing objects being moved/manipulated by unseen hands. Interest increased as I grew older, watching kids shows like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark. Moving on to other tv shows like Most Haunted, and my overall favorite that really drew me in and got me stuck, Ghost Hunters. How did I become a part of CAIPRS? I was taking a class at 4C’s this past summer and noticed a sign for an open CAIPRS meeting.  Not knowing what night it was on, I went home and googled CAIPRS, and immediately contacted them.  After the interview, the rest is history.

I’ve only had one “ghostly” encounter, although I don’t want to place any money on it saying that’s what it definitely was!  But, in July my Pe Pere passed away (my dad’s dad); on the day of his funeral, I was taking a shower when all of a sudden I heard the bathroom door open and someone walk in- the bathroom became unusually cold.  I didn’t know what was going on- even being in the hot water I felt ice cold.  Due to the shock, I finished up quite quickly and hopped out.  First thing I noticed was that the mirror was 95% clear- barely foggy at all; which isn’t ever the case at all after a shower.  I also noticed that the door wasn’t open either. Immediately after my shower I talked to my mom asking if anyone at all had come into the bathroom while I was in there… she replied that no one had gone in there at all Entity or not, the event was definitely shocking and unexplainable. I look forward to my future with CAIPRS in finding evidence that brings verification for my belief in the paranormal. I hope to catch some amazing pieces of evidence that could possibly change some skeptics to believers. There’s something else out there, existing amongst us, whether we choose to believe it or not.
