This position is essential for maintaining our scientific integrity, therefore these individuals must have comprehensive knowledge in the field of science and an unbiased view of the paranormal .  It is highly beneficial for these members to possess a strong working knowledge of the scientific method as they will be scrutinizing all our investigational data and proposing all possible natural sources for any documented phenomenon. These members will also be expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of and maintain a strict adherence to CAIPRS' SOP standards. The list below is the minimum requirements necessary for becoming a Skeptical Advisor. Please be sure that you are able to meet these items when submitting your information for review.

Investigator must be 18 years of age or older

Must be available for Important Meetings

Must have access to e-mail

Must sign CAIPRS' non-Compete agreement

Must obtain Troy Taylor's "Ghost Hunters Guide Book"

Must follow CAIPRS Standard Operation Procedures

Must be available  for Investigations

Must work to incorporate reasonable views into reports

Must pay monthly membership dues

Must be part of CAIPRS studies
