UFO's, Are They Real?
Join Dave Fritz, Director of the Division
of UFO Studies as he presents "UFO's, are they real"? He will captivate
you with this out of this world lecture. Have you ever looked into the
sky and thought maybe, just maybe, someone or something is looking back
at you? Dave with discuss the pro's and con's of the possibility of
extra terrestrial beings. Have they contacted people here on Earth? Did
they "abducted" people and imbedded secret messages with in their brains
or skin? If you are either visiting or live on this little peninsula we
call Cape Cod, you may just want to keep an eye on the sky's. This
lecture is multi-media and audience participation is welcomed.

Meet Matt
Ardito
Matt joined
CAIPRS in 2006. When he was young, Matt experienced his first paranormal
incident when he found an abandoned truck in the woods near his house.
Upon approaching the truck, he saw two men arguing with each other, turn
to look at him, then vanish into thin air. In 2004, Matt and a group of
his friends formed Cape Cod Youth Paranormal (CCYP), a small group that
investigated cemeteries and other small hauntings. Recently, Matt
applied his ghost hunting knowledge towards a school project in 2006
during which Derek Bartlett agreed to be his mentor. After the project
was completed, Matt and Derek agreed that CCYP would disband and that
Matt would be recruited into CAIPRS. While always skeptical when it
comes to finding evidence, he is always open to new ideas and
discoveries, believing that "it is better to look again than assume
nothing is there."

Derek Bartlett of CAIPRS has joined TEAM I AM HAUNTED.
The Karsten Inn was built in 1858 and had
several different owners before William Karsten Sr. purchased the
hostelry in 1911. William Karsten Sr. lived at the Inn until he died in
his suite of rooms January 4, 1940 at age 78. From the time of Senior's
retirement until his death in 1964 the Inn was managed by William Jr.
At that time the Inn was closed and fell into general disrepair.
In the mid 1990's the Karsten Inn was
restored to its original splendor and once again open for business.
During remodeling careful attention was paid to the historic details of
the Inn. With the exception of making the rooms bigger to afford some
modern luxuries, the Karsten Inn looks much the same way it did when it
was owned by Karsten. When you step through the front door of the Inn
you will feel as though you have stepped almost 100 years into the past.
The Karsten Inn has a very rich history that
all who attend this event will learn about extensively. Part of that
history still lives within the walls of this historic building in the
form of ghosts. William Karsten Sr., his grandson William the 3rd and a
live in maid named Agatha still tend to the Inn they devoted their lives
to.

Cape And Islands Paranormal
Research Society is beating feet towards WXTK 95.1 FM between 9-10
AM on January 19, 2007 to join local morning hosts Ed Lambert and Don
McKeag for a morning broadcast. Ed will interview CAIPRS members Deb
Ahern and Derek Bartlett about ghosts and hauntings. This is a live
broadcast call in radio show. We hope you can listen and even call in
with your questions.

Cape And Islands Paranormal
Research Society hits the airwaves with WQRC 99.9 FM on Sunday January
21 between 8-9AM. Deb Ahern and Derek Bartlett do a 1/2 hour recorded
broadcast for The Sunday Journal hosted by the WQRC NewsCenter. The show
is a weekly comprehensive look at the important issues that effect the
Cape & Islands. CAIPRS will be discussing how they got started and some
of their cases. Look for them on the airwaves

Join Cape And Islands Paranormal Research
Society (CAIPRS) as they bring you Multi-Media Paranormal. Enjoy the warmth of
the college as you sit back and watch three videos about the paranormal,
produced and filmed locally. The first video is called "ECHOsystems"
produced by Dragon Art Entertainment, This 27 minute video is about a
writer who needs to get away from the city, but what happens to him in a
bed and breakfast in NH will scar him for the rest of his life.
The next video is "Inside the Bridgewater Triangle" produced by Aaron Cadieux. This 33 minute video takes a look at a 200 square-mile
region in Southeastern Massachusetts with a long history of strange,
paranormal and sometimes evil activity. The final video is "Earth
Mysteries and Sacred Sights" produced by Virginia Treworgy. We will show
only a portion of this video (portal hauntings and the science behind
them). All three of these videos have footage or Interviews from CAIPRS.

evening will include a two-hour tour of the village's haunted locations
and participants will visit places such as "Cape Cod's most haunted
building -The House of 11 Ghosts, The Old Jail, Barnstable Tavern and a

Concord?
